My Valentines Subway Art

I got a call a couple of days ago from a gal who wanted some subway art in vinyl. So... here it is. This is the jpg version of my vinyl. Go ahead and grab it... Frame it... or contact me for a bigger sized file or to purchase the vinyl! I can make it whatever size you want!

Jenn S. took on a project doing her valentine's wreath... I think it was a little more than she thought it might be. That is ALOT of rosettes. WOW... does it look good!Idea: Our Best Bites --- so stinking CUTE!

Love Love Love

I am still not done with the red black and white. I still "LOVE" it... hahaha! I am so funny. You might as well agree with me! Seriously. I was cutting out the letters and didn't like the "O" that I had cut. I tried a couple of different options... NOTHING! "Change it using different materials" I said to myself. (Cause you know sometimes I have good ideas!) Sooo....much much cuter!

Valentine's Wreath

I started out making a wreath... like my dear friend Jenn.... well... I quickly realize that I don't do anything like the picture. Here is what we were supposed to make...

And this is what I came up with.... I know... I know... I am kind of bad at the whole following directions thing (all who agree raise your hands... NOW PUT THEM DOWN!)

The LOVE pillow...

So... I was cleaning today (don't fall out of your chair just yet!), and spotted the red (flannel), black (fleece) and white (soft - yeah... I don't know the name of this stuff)fabric in the corner. And said to myself (you know cause I talk to me alot)... "I need a cute Valentine's Day pillow for my living"... so I set out on an adventure. I have been working with wood and vinyl... so this was a little bit of a flash back... (not too far though! Cause I am not THAT old... yet!)

Custom Order for My AWESOME SISTER

All because two people fell in love. Julie called me last night and "asked" to place an order. She is so cute and gets the whole crafting thing. She liked the "True" thing, but agreed she has very little valentines decorations. She lives in Iowa, so I will have to ship it to her. She told me I could put ribbon on it, if she could make out the pattern - I figured polka dots were simple enough. I am excited... didn't it come out cute?

Wood You BE MINE?

As I was putting away my Christmas stuff this year, I realized I have very little valentines decorations. So... I made one. It stands 7" x 3". I cut the heart out of the middle using a drill then my new scroll saw.

I am a cheap lady (insert cute little comment here). I found a way to give the distress look to wood without buying all the stuff from your "favorite" home improvement store. I used the acrylic paint and a little water. It dilutes the paint and I used my finger to spread it over the wood. It got a little dark in spots so I used some fine sand paper and wolla!
